As a proposal writer, she has helped secure government and private industry contracts.

Peggie Edwards-Jefferies

Peggie Edwards-Jefferies has more than 10 years in professional meeting planning and 20-plus years of experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.  She has managed meetings, workshops, training events, and large-scale national and international conferences and events for government and private industry. Her expertise covers all elements of planning from meeting room selection and layout to travel/lodging negotiations to maintaining cost control.

Peggie is recognized for her outstanding negotiating skills with vendors and facilities.

In one particular instance, her astute contract negotiations saved her client approximately $500,000.00 in liability resulting from a necessitated cancellation because she insisted upon the insertion of an “Act of War” clause in the hotel contract.

Earlier in her career, Peggie managed the meeting division of a 400-room hotel and provided meeting training within the private sector.

Peggie currently has a contract to manage meetings and events for the Government Accountability Office (GAO), has five-year security clearance and works directly with the Comptroller General and his staff.

 

Alice Larson, Ph.D.

Dr. Larson provides services to clients throughout the country including: research studies, policy analysis, government         liaison, needs assessments, services evaluation, community relations, technical reports, grant applications, program outreach/development and conference coordination.

 

Alice has conducted national level research and assistance on survey design, community-based research, evaluation of direct training and train-the-trainer approaches, curriculum development, verification systems design, and estimating and characterizing special populations (with particular emphasis on migrant and seasonal farm workers).

Her clients have included the Centers for Disease Control; under the U.S. Department of Labor: Employment and Training Administration, Office of Program and Policy, Office of Performance, Technology and Evaluation, Office of Job Corps, National Farm worker Jobs Programs, and Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives; U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health et. al.
